THE QUIET LAND OF ÉRIN
- An exile song, originally in Gaelic (Ardaí Chuain) by the Ulster poet Mac Ambróis, after a period of enforced exile in Scotland.
Translated from the Gaelic by Mary's sister,
Joan O'Hara.

his song, like Danny Boy, came to be associated very much with Mary O'Hara's repertoire and the type of Irish song she popularised.
