Since Mary O'Hara first appeared on the cover of the IRISH DIGEST in 1955, she has travelled far.
She has been much photographed and talked about. She retired from singing in 1994 and though she still travels a bit and gives the occasional Talk, she considers herself retired.

The John J Burns Library at Boston College is putting on a special exhibition on Mary O'Hara October 2009, a sort of Celebration of her Life and Music. BBC TV has recorded a programme with Mary to be broadcast Autumn 2009.
